That’s why I’m not a fan of reveal.js or other reveal.js based editors like GitPitch. I just don’t like how code looks in reveal.js. There are too many borders, too much whitespace, and not enough room for the actual code in a large enough font.

I’m also not a fan of tweaking css. If you have Mac OS, try DeckSet. It comes with dozens of great themes, and you can extend them, configure them, and even make your own. The theme editor looks like something you’d see in Keynote, with drop-down menus and buttons. These custom themes can then be exported and put in source control along with the presentation.

I tend to customize each DeckSet theme I use, even a little bit, because I don’t like the default colors for syntax highlighting. Other than that, there are some great looking themes included.
