It used to be a great option, but for some reason, they took away the critical ability to edit or re-upload a presentation in-place at the same URL after submission in October of 2017. I’m not sure why. That makes fixing typos a nightmare, especially if I’ve already generated a short URL or shared the link.

Since they took that feature away, I’ve slowly been moving off Slide Share to Speaker Deck. Unfortunately, Speaker Deck doesn’t support clickable links in the presentation which is also a critical feature. In short, I’m not a fan of either service but I haven’t found a better option.
